How do I request an interlibrary loan (ILL)?
Answer
There are three options for submitting an ILL request for an item not found in our library.
Interlibrary Loan request
Option #1:
1. Go to the CUSM library homepage https://www.cusm.edu/student/iThere are three options for submitting an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request for an item not found in our library.
**Option #1: Submit a Request via the Library Homepage**
1. Visit the CUSM library homepage https://www.cusm.edu/student/info-commons.php
2. Enter the title of the article or book in the search box and click the search button.
3. Click on the "Access options" line and select “Request this Item through Interlibrary Loan.”
4. You may need to log in using your CUSM NetID (CUSM email address and password).
5. Fill in all your contact information and use your CUSM email address. The article information will be automatically filled out for your convenience.
6. Click "Submit."
*The CUSM Information Commons will notify you when your requested article is available.*
**Option #2: Complete the Interlibrary Loan Request Form**
If an item is unavailable for ILL in our catalog, please complete the Interlibrary Loan Request Form on the CUSM Information Commons website. Enter the required information on the form and click the submit button. A confirmation notice will appear if it is submitted successfully.
