Access Medicine Mobile APP

1. Create an account on campus by following these directions 
2. Registered users can install the app from Apple Store, Google Play
3. Install the app on your phone and log in with your CUSM login.

Bates Visual Guide Mobile APP 

1. Go to Bates Visual Guide and scan the QR Code below.     
2. Access through your institution by signing in using your CUSM email address and password (same login used for your Microsoft MyApps).   
3. If you do not see CUSM, please type in California University of Science and Medicine and sign in using your CUSM email address and password.

• If you created an account on campus, please use your login information to access the Bates mobile app.  

ClinicalKey

1. Download the app to your mobile device. This app is available for Android and iOS mobile devices. 
2. Click on Next, Next, Next, Next, Next to add all the extra functionalities of ClinicalKey.
3. Select ClinicalKey to continue downloading.
4. Select OpenAthens Login, which is listed below the login button.
5. Type California University of Science and Medicine in the Find your institution search box.
6. Click on the California University of Science and Medicine link.
7. Sign in using your CUSM Net ID (CUSM email address and password.

After 180 days, you must log onto the ClinicalKey website via the library and log into your account to re-activate remote access.

Up to Date Mobile APP

1. Download the most current version of the UpToDate app from the App Store or Google Play 
2. Select "OpenAthens Log In" on the app's login screen
3. Enter your OpenAthens credentials (CUSM email and password) to begin using the app

Visible Body

How to download the Visible Body App on Campus

1. Are you on campus and logged into your campus' network?  On your mobile device, go to the Information Commons webpage. 
2. Select the Databases link located in the Resources Box. 
3. Click V for Visible Body and authenticate your affiliation.
4. Login using your CUSM email address and password
5. Go to the VisualBody page. 
6. Select the Mobile Apps link and download and install the app.

How to download the Visible Body App off Campus

1. On your mobile device, go to the Information Commons webpage. 
2. Select the Databases link located in the Resources Box. 
3. Click V for Visible Body and authenticate your affiliation n with CUSM.
4. Select the app you want to download.
5. In the pop-up that appears, enter and submit your email. Notice that a "Verification Code" option appears. Leave this webpage open.
6. Check your email for a verification code. Copy that code to your clipboard. Paste it into the "Verification Code" option on the web page and submit.
7. Save the username and password provided.
8. Use the link provided to download the mobile app. Launch the app. On the activation screen, enter the username and password provided.

*Please ensure you open your app(s) on campus and log into your campus network once every 150 days.

     VitalSource Bookshelf for an IOS

1. Click on the link Download Bookshelf from the iTunes App Store.
2. Click the free button and select Install. You may have to log in with your Apple ID.
3. Click on the Bookshelf icon on your phone to launch the bookshelf.

VitalSource Bookshelf for Android

1. Click on the link Download Bookshelf from Google Play. 
2. Select the install button and click accept.
3. You may be directed to log in to your Google Account. 
4. Click on the Bookshelf icon to download the bookshelf to your mobile device.
5. Sign in with your VitalSource ID and password.
